Saba Choir music is inspired by Classical New Age Fusion. Composer and Director Hooman Fanaian
Hooman Fanaian
He discovered his musical talent from an early age. With unique creativity, he started composing music and directing different musical groups from 1991. He has worked for many organizations including the national Bahai institute for education, the Bahai institute for the education of junior youth and children, committee of the solidarity of the youth. He also served committees dedicated to commemorating the masters, elders and honorable figures of Persia. Since that same year, he has been actively participating in lectures in music, and has learned a lot from great masters such s Mrs. Afsaneh Rohani and Dr. Fahim Momtaz. WIth these great experiences, he became a great leader of the Saba Choir and a great motivation for the members of this ensemble. He has led this group to a stage where it has been successful from many perspectives. Even though, over the years, there has been some changes in the members of the ensemble, however it had preserved its own unique style and melody since its first album "Jelvehaye Iman" . This is due to his great focus on the choice and integration of different voices that best fit the ensemble.
Meanwhile he has been involved in teaching music, Piano, Organ, theory of music, and singing. It is worthwhile mentioning that he was awarded the best young composer in Iran while he was attending high school. Many of his compositions were broadcasted from the Iranian television. His name was never mentioned as the composer of the pieces due to his membership in the Bahai faith. During the presidency of Mr. Khatami, he performed several times in Dr. Mahmoud Hesabi's high school for girls, while the president attending the performance.
He is now studying in a field of medicine. He continues his musical activities with the Saba choir in California with the pure intension of serving humanity. He has his first album called "Jelvehaye Iman".
